Creedence – A Clearwater Revival

Creedence – A Clearwater Revival is a tribute paying homage to the brilliant songwriting and success of a great American band, Creedence Clearwater Revival. Produced, marketed and directed by Rainbow Dust & Music Inc. (Skye Wilson and Monique Sher.)
Recently, Skye has been enjoying success with Rumours of Fleetwood Mac tribute show (she is producer, lead vocalist/acoustic guitarist and musical director.) Monique Sher has been an agent and producer for over thirty years. She has most recently been booking and marketing an array of top tribute shows, including Rumours of Fleetwood Mac, Mark Haze presents Masters of Rock, A Queen Experience and A CSNY Experience, amongst others.
Creedence – A Clearwater Revival features a full band made up of top Cape Town musicians:
– Armand De Vries (vocals and guitar): A local session multi-instrumentalist and songwriter who has played at many venues locally and toured Europe.
– Dave Goldberg (keyboards and vocals): Bringing his signature sound to South African stages for over 30 years, with rich, bluesy vocals.
– Dieter Stutz (bass): Grew up on Hendrix, Joplin, Cream, and has played in various successful bands like “Sweatband”.
– Francois Steyn (drums and vocals): An award-winning musician and producer who has worked with top South African artists.
In 1968, Creedence Clearwater Revival exploded onto the scene with their self-titled debut album, unleashing a raw, electrifying sound that cut through the haze of San Francisco’s psychedelic era. With gritty guitar riffs and a soul steeped in blues, country, rockabilly, gospel, folk, and R&B, CCR carved their own path, channeling the heart of American music into every track. By 1970, they were the biggest band on earth, surpassing even The Beatles.
Creedence had significant popularity in South Africa, with “Proud Mary” reaching number 1 on the charts. Their music remains a staple of classic rock culture globally and continues to be played on radio and streaming platforms in South Africa.
