The UCT Symphonic Wind Ensemble\, comprising fifty-five undergraduate and postgraduate musicians\, reflects the breadth of emerging talent within the South African College of Music. \nThis much-anticipated concert celebrates Kierman’s lasting musical leadership\, his deep commitment to the wind band community\, and the artistic legacy he nurtured across generations. We alternate our tours between our two most popular routes: The Coastal Ride and Harbour Route. \nCOASTAL RIDE: \nWe will take you on a beautiful morning ride (if weather permits) through Cape Town with a brief stop at Signal Hill\, before passing Table Mountain and cruising along the curvy coastal road towards Oudekraal. Here\, in front of this amazing backdrop of the 12 Apostles and overlooking the ocean\, we will stop for a coffee and chat\, where you then have the opportunity to make new friends and to get to know your fellow riders. After our coffee break\, we will take a leisurely ride back along Camps Bay & Sea Point and end the ride at our RETZA base where we will leave you with amazing memories and new friends. \nHARBOUR RIDE (HOUT BAY): \nAfter gathering at RETZA in Salt River\, and receiving your morning coffee\, we will ride together along the M3 towards the beautiful winding roads and lush and green forest areas of Newlands Forest and Kirstenbosch Gardens. Watch the magnificent Table Mountain passing on your right while you can feel the temperatures and scent of the air change. It gets cooler and you can feel the forest climate\, while you cruise along those beautiful winding roads up to Constantia Neck. Once we reach Hout Bay we will stop for a coffee break at a quaint place near the harbour. DESCRIPTION:YOUR CHANCE TO RIDE A ROYAL ENFIELD! \nKick-off your weekend with an iconic Royal Enfield experience! We invite all motorcycle enthusiasts – Riders & Non-Riders – to join us on a leisurely 2 hours morning Coffee Ride along Cape Town’s breath-taking coastline. We alternate our tours between our two most popular routes: The Coastal Ride and Harbour Route. \nCOASTAL RIDE: \nWe will take you on a beautiful morning ride (if weather permits) through Cape Town with a brief stop at Signal Hill\, before passing Table Mountain and cruising along the curvy coastal road towards Oudekraal. Here\, in front of this amazing backdrop of the 12 Apostles and overlooking the ocean\, we will stop for a coffee and chat\, where you then have the opportunity to make new friends and to get to know your fellow riders. After our coffee break\, we will take a leisurely ride back along Camps Bay & Sea Point and end the ride at our RETZA base where we will leave you with amazing memories and new friends. \nHARBOUR RIDE (HOUT BAY): \nAfter gathering at RETZA in Salt River\, and receiving your morning coffee\, we will ride together along the M3 towards the beautiful winding roads and lush and green forest areas of Newlands Forest and Kirstenbosch Gardens. Watch the magnificent Table Mountain passing on your right while you can feel the temperatures and scent of the air change. It gets cooler and you can feel the forest climate\, while you cruise along those beautiful winding roads up to Constantia Neck. Once we reach Hout Bay we will stop for a coffee break at a quaint place near the harbour. After our coffee break\, we will take a leisurely ride back along the coastline via Llandudno and Camps Bay towards RETZA\, where we will leave you with amazing memories and new friends. \n– – – – – – – – \nWHERE | WHEN | HOW – The details! \nMeet us between 8:30am and 8:45am at our RETZA Flagship Store in Salt River (261B Victoria Road). After getting an intro to your bike & signing an indemnity form\, we are ready to take off at 9am! Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the departure (by 8:45am latest) to complete all the formalities\, receive your motorcycle gear & morning coffee\, and to check your Royal Enfield for the ride. \nFor riders:\nAll you need to bring is your valid motorcycle license and a big smile! We provide helmets & jackets\, but feel free to bring your own gear! \nFor Non-riders (pillion / passengers): \nYou’d like to join but don’t have a rider friend? No Worries! All you need to bring is a big smile! We will organise an experienced RETZA driver for you and equip you with a helmet and jacket.\nPlease wear a pair of pants (preferably jeans) and solid shoes (no open toe or sandals). –> Please select the ticket option: “Pillion (no rider)”\nYou are joining someone?
